Above is a mystery crop being grown at craggie all will be revealed at launch time in late july but it is unique to the north of scotland .Watch this space Updated 01 june 2001 Situated in the Highlands of Scotland we supply high grade seed to some of the leading ware producers in England . We are members of the VTSC growers association , S.E Growers . We are contracted to also grow Virus Tested material for Pseedco ,Greenvale and Cygnet Potato Breeders Some of our customers have been with us for over 30 years The Company was founded by Mr J.D.Allingham in 1963 and is now being run by Mr W.G.Allingham .
The Picture above shows crops in the early stages of VT production. We grow all our crops from Clonal material and more recently minitubers . It takes us three years to produce a commercial stock at SE 1 for sale to ware growers .
