Dominic and Rachel.

.

4th January 2000 update:

Sam was a little angel at his Christening at St.Martins Church, North Perrott on Sunday, 21st February 1999. This may have been due to the fact that his Grandad performed the act! We all gathered for a lunch afterwards at the Village Hall, this seemed to go without hitch. Harriet and Isobel entertained everyone on the piano during lunch. The Christening robe was unscathed at the end of the day, which was a real bonus. It was great to have a day to celebrate the life of little Sam and we were really grateful to all those who came.

Sam is now fully mobile and doing all the things that toddlers tend to do.

What he lacks in sleep he makes up for in character and boyish good looks. It will be interesting to compare him with Barney in this department and which of them will have the most success with girlfriends. He's a quiet lad yet, but it's the quiet one's the girls have to watch out for. Perhaps he's missing a little sister or brother to talk to. Now there's food for thought!

13th January 2006 update:

In the intervening years since the first bulletin, Rachel has given birth to Jamie (now 5) and Ben (1 ½).  Dominic built a house 4 years ago on his nursery and last September sold both together as a going concern.  In the same month he returned to Bath University and has started to retrain as a teacher.  He will start his new career at the end of the summer but in the meantime, Rachel and the boys are living in Crewkerne while Dad is away on placements or lodging with Sophie and Duncan when he is at school in Bath.

Rachel is hoping that the family can grow up quietly and start to settle down in the near future.
